Historic Oakwood

Visit Raleigh describes Historic Oakwood as a neighborhood of about 30 blocks east of Person Street, with lovingly restored Victorian and early 20th-century homes, many with gardens. Self-guided walking tour brochures are available, and an annual Candlelight Tour is held each December.
